TSA PreCheck Members Can Now Visit Gates at Pensacola Airport Without Flying

Pensacola International Airport has launched a new program that lets approved visitors accompany passengers to the gate area—no plane ticket required. The initiative, called Gateside by TSA PreCheck, allows people with active TSA PreCheck memberships to clear security checkpoint screening without a boarding pass, according to reporting from North Escambia.

The program is designed to give families and friends more time together before departure, eliminating the need for visitors to watch travelers disappear through the security line. It's a convenience feature that several major U.S. airports already offer, and now travelers using Pensacola International can take advantage of the same benefit.

To participate, visitors must have an active TSA PreCheck membership and go through the standard security screening process at the airport. The program applies to the gate areas but does not permit access to other restricted airport zones.
