The National Hurricane Center is tracking a new tropical disturbance in the Atlantic that has been dubbed Invest 94L, along with two tropical waves. Meanwhile, Florida's Atlantic and Gulf coasts could see some tropical development this week in the same area that spawned the one last week. Meteorologists began tracking Invest 94L over the weekend, and nudged the chance of development over the next 48 hours to seven days to a low 20%. The disturbance will move into conditions even less conducive for further development within the next couple of days. Plumes of Saharan dust are keeping the surrounding air dry, robbing the tropical disturbance of some of the moisture needed to strengthen. Meteorologists are also watching the same area along the Gulf and southeastern coasts for potential tropical development. The area has a low risk of development.
