Three UWF Trustee Nominees to have Confirmation Hearings on Thursday

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Three nominees appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees will undergo confirmation hearings before a Florida Senate committee tommorrow. Gates Garcia, Paul Bailey, and Chris Young are set to present their cases, while the board's controversial chairman, Scott Yenor, has yet to face a hearing amidst backlash over past comments. The nominees have previously supported Yenor's chairmanship. The Senate committee meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m on Thursday.
