TEEN TO SERVE 25 YEARS FOR DRUG DEAL DOUBLE MURDER

A Pensacola teen will spend 25 years behind bars for a double murder that happened during a drug deal gone bad. Hunter Carroll was just 15 years old at the time when he shot and killed Natalie Greenough and David Purchase. According to the PNJ, Carroll, now 17, pleaded no contest to the shootings. Back in November of 2021, Carroll and 20-year-old Nathan Brown shot into the victim's car shortly after they arrived at the intersection of Waycross and Stonewall Avenues. In August, Brown was sentenced to life in prison for his role.
