Teen that SWATTED Baker High School Sentenced

Baker, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A teenager that had the Baker High School SWATTED by police back in 2023 will spend four years in a Florida prison. Landyn Whittington was in a Florida courtroom yesterday, he was sentenced to four years in prison and two years of probation. Prosecutors say Whittington called Crestview police and said he was in the school with guns and planning to shoot up the school. They say he had made similar calls to schools in multiple states in exchange for money. Whittington will be required to write apoogy letters to each victim as part of his sentence.
