Tate, Northview Fall in District Volleyball Tournaments

The Tate Aggies and Northview Chiefs both saw their district tournament runs end Friday night in volleyball action across the area.

Tate, seeded No. 3 in the District 1-5A tournament, fell to No. 2 seed Niceville in straight sets during Friday's semifinal matchup at Niceville. The Eagles' sweep ended the Aggies' postseason hopes in the district tournament.

Northview also bowed out of tournament play Friday, though specific details of that match were not immediately available. Both teams now turn their attention to potential playoff qualification or consolation bracket opportunities depending on their district standings.
