Tate High FFA wins state turfgrass championship, heads to nationals

The Tate High School FFA Chapter has captured first place in the Florida Turfgrass Science Invitational Student Competition, held at Candler Hills Golf Course at On Top of the World in Ocala. The win advances the team to nationals competition.

The championship team included Baylor Touchstone, Addyson Smallwood, Allison Wynne, and Cade McNair. The competition tests students' knowledge and skills in turfgrass management and science across a range of practical and theoretical challenges.
