Stolen Truck Chase After Air Show Ends In Multiple Charges

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- A stolen pickup truck led police on a high-speed chase after Saturday's air show at Pensacola Beach. Deputies say nineteen-year-old Joan Vargas Rosario stole the truck from a friend, then hit several cars and pedestrians while weaving through traffic across the beach and into Gulf Breeze. The chase ended when the truck crashed at Gulf Breeze Parkway and Daniel Circle, taking out a fire hydrant and utility pole. Vargas Rosario faces several charges and is due in court August sixth.
