SRIA Down to Five Finalists for Executive Director

The Santa Rosa Island Authority is reportedly down to five candidates to take over as its next Executive Director. During a special meeting last week, the SRIA administrative committee narrowed the search down to five finalists-- Mike Burns, Brian Underwood, William Whitson, Ted Yates, and Clete Saunier. Burns owns a law firm in Pensacola, while Underwood is the Baldwin County Commission's Grants Director. Whitson is the Flagler Beach City Manager, Yates is the Village Manager for Islamorada, FL, and Saunier is Public Works Director for Santa Paula, CA. The five finalists are expected to be in town later this month for one-on-one interviews and a familiarization tour.
