High-tech cameras are catching drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses. Since March, Santa Rosa County has seen around 3,000 violations. In Escambia County, the school district received only around 200 calls last year about violations. Both districts use the cameras to monitor the problem. Escambia County is holding a bus driver training day next week, October 14, on what is and what is not considered an illegal passing.
