Shooting Reported in Molino Early Tuesday Morning

Molino, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- An Alabama man was injured when shots rang out in Molino early this morning. It happened on Jahaza Road around 4:20 am. Officials say a man and woman had traveled from Atmore t oa residence on Cedartown Road after a woman was invited by the homeowner -- apparently there was another woman present at the home when they arrived and the two women got into an argument. Investigators say the homeowner intervened in that argument and fired several gunshots at the vehicle as the man and woman left. The male visitor was shot in the back and another round hit the vehicle. The victim suffered a non-life threatening wound and charges are expected against the homeowner, who is reportedly a convicted felon.
