Several Arrests Made Following Armed Robbery in Foley

Foley, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Five people were arrested in Foley after an armed robbery last week where victims were held at gunpoint and had firearms stolen. The suspects include 26-year-old Kyle Welch from Texas, a 17-year-old, 18-year-olds Kahmiya Amoni Thomas and Abel Alejandro Gamez, and 34-year-old Cody Dewayne Barnett. Police used a K9 to locate Welch under an RV, where they recovered three weapons, including one stolen during the robbery, and methamphetamine. Additional arrests were made later, and further charges are expected as the investigation continues.
