Scott Proposes Bill Making Government Shutdowns Illegal

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott is part of an effort he says will take government shutdowns off the table. Senator Scott announced yesterday he and fellow Republican Ron Johnson are proposing the Eliminate Shutdowns Act. Scott says it would stop Democrats from using the threat of a shutdown to demand a liberal wish list that undermines the president's agenda. He accuses Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer of making ridiculous demands and throwing a temper tantrum to try and stop President Trump from delivering for the American people.
