The Escambia School District says schools and district offices will be closed tomorrow due to the possible severe weather threat. The closures also include all extra-curricular activities. The National Weather Service is forecasting severe weather for the area, with an enhanced possibility of strong tornadoes, flash flooding, and severe thunderstorms. Normal operations are expected to resume on Thursday. Meanwhile, Santa Rosa Schools will follow an early release schedule. Community Schools, after-school programs, and all extracurricular activities have been canceled for tomorrow evening.
