Santa Rosa Health Department Partially Reopens Wednesday After Storm

The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County will resume limited operations this week following severe weather that forced closures. Beginning Wednesday, October 14, only the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) office and Vital Statistics office in Milton will be open.

The WIC office will operate from 7:30 a.m. to noon, while Vital Statistics will be available from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. The health department said it will release updated hours and service information for Thursday and Friday in a separate announcement.

Residents needing to reach the department can call 850-983-5200 for more details. The partial reopening represents the first step toward full restoration of services at the Santa Rosa County health offices.
