Santa Rosa Extension Hosts Aquaponics Class Oct. 13 in Milton

The Santa Rosa County Extension Office is offering a hands-on introduction to aquaponic farming systems this week. The class runs Tuesday, October 13, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton.

Participants will learn how to maintain various aquaponic setups — systems that combine fish farming with hydroponic plant growth. Registration is $25, and attendees receive starter supplies to get growing.

The session is part of the Santa Rosa Farming Series, which offers a range of agricultural education workshops throughout the year.
