Santa Rosa County Day of Caring invites community to support military, veterans

Santa Rosa County is asking residents to join a community-wide effort to brighten the holidays for local military personnel and veterans through the 2026 Day of Caring.

The county is inviting community members to decorate stockings and write holiday cards for area service members and veterans. Drop-in participation is welcome at any Santa Rosa County Public Library location during regular business hours on Friday, November 13. Supplies for the activity will be available while they last, according to a release from Santa Rosa County Communications and Media Relations.

The Day of Caring is a way for the community to show appreciation for those who have served. Library locations and hours can be found at santarosa.fl.gov/546/Locations-Hours. More details about the initiative are available at uwwf.org/day-caring-2026.
