Florida’s four-month Hunting, Fishing and Camping sales-tax holiday kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 1, and runs through Dec. 31. Shoppers can skip sales tax on camping and hunting gear — including guns and ammunition — with no price cap on firearms, bows or accessories. The holiday is part of the state’s tax package signed with the new budget and is expected to save shoppers millions statewide.
