Results from Century's Special Primary are In

Century, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Results are in from Century's special primary election for their District 4 town council seat yesterday. North-Escambia reports that John Bass was elected and will now serve on the council's District 4 seat. Bass was running against Kathryn Fleming and Sparkie Harrison -- he reportedly got more than 50-percent of the vote. Only one candidate qualified for Century's vacant Mayoral seat -- former Mayor Ben Boutwell. He was automatically elected and the contest was not listed on yesterday's ballot. Both Boutwell and Bass will be sworn into office in May.
