A tornado may have touched down in Santa Rosa County last night. Some damage was reported in Gulf Breeze, Navarre area. Tim Towbridge from Santa Rosa County Emergency Management, along with the US National Weather Service were investigating that possible tornado strike on Champagne Avenue in Woodlawn Beach /Navarre area during last night's storms. A camper trailer was originally in an adjacent yard and was thrown across by the wind. Fences and some trees were also down, but it looked like homes in the area escaped any serious damage.
