Portland Loo Installations Nearing Completion in Downtown Pensacola

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pensacola Mayor DC Reeves says the city is just days away from completing two new Portland Loo restroom installations. Fencing is already up at MLK Plaza and the skate park, and construction is moving quickly.

Reeves told reporters the goal is to have both units finished by the end of November, or shortly after Thanksgiving if work runs slightly behind.According to the mayor, the final timeline will be confirmed soon.

“The hope is to have them done… if they aren’t in November, it’ll be pretty darn close, you know, day by day,” Reeves said. (0:23–0:39)

The city expects to be “days or hours away” from completion once the Thanksgiving holiday passes.
