PLANS ARE UNDERWAY FOR SECURITY BUILDINGS ON FLORIDA CAMPUSES

051625 After the mass shooting at FSU, university officials are looking at building security on campuses across the state. Officials now plan to hold a safety summit in October. Campus leaders will assess security at that time. The goal is to be done by the end of the summer, which will provide time to make budget requests for the 2026 legislative session.
