PLANNING AGENCY SEEKS PUBLIC COMMENT

The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization is inviting public feedback on its 2025 Transportation Project Priorities, which is a list of proposed projects that aim to improve mobility, safety, and connectivity throughout the region. The in person workshop is Aprl 9th, 10:30am, at the Pensacola Downtown Library, or vertually on-line at e-c-r-c dot org, slash vertual public meetings. The TPO serves Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida, as well as Orange Beach and the community of Lillian in Alabama. The virtual open house features an interactive project map, a list of proposed projects, and a link to the survey to gather input on how they should be prioritized based on community needs. Projects range from roadway improvements to safety enhancements, bike/pedestrian connections, and other regional priorities.
