Pickup Truck Crashes Through Escambia County Home, Driver Hospitalized

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A driver was seriously hurt after crashing into an Escambia County home yesterday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of Sunshine Hill and Molino roads. The Florida Highway Patrol says a 54-year-old man ran off the road and hit a ditch, went airborne, then crashed through the wall and into a home. EMS transported the driver to the hospital, there was a passenger in the vehicle but there's no word on their injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
