Pensacola State College resuming normal operations Monday after weather closure

Pensacola State College will return to normal operations on Monday, October 19, following a weather-related closure that affected the campus this week. All classes, events, and activities will resume, according to a media alert from the college.

College officials say all facilities have been inspected and deemed safe for occupancy, with one exception: the Milton Campus Library will remain closed pending repairs. Employees at that location will report to the Pensacola Campus Library instead, while all other staff will return to their regular work stations.

Fall B session final exams are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (October 19-20), and Fall D session classes begin Monday. The college's Drop and Add period for D session concludes Tuesday. Faculty have been asked to extend deadlines and due dates for coursework and exams affected by the closure, and to remain flexible as campus operations ramp back up.
