Pensacola seeks community input on Fricker Center playground redesign

The City of Pensacola is asking residents to weigh in on plans for a new playground at the Fricker Resource Center as renovation work continues at the facility. The city opened a public poll Friday that runs through October 23, inviting the community to vote on two design concepts: Red, White and Blue, or Teal and Green.
Residents can access the poll on the Fricker Center project website, where they'll find detailed renderings of both playground options. The survey asks voters to select their preferred design and layout, indicate which ADA-accessible features matter most to them, and offer general feedback on the proposals.
The Fricker Resource Center serves as a community hub in Pensacola, and the playground renovation is part of a larger facility improvement initiative. City officials are encouraging families and neighbors to participate in the voting process to ensure the final design reflects what the community wants to see.
