Pensacola's Keyla Richardson Finishes Third on American Idol

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pensacola's Keyla Richardson has finished third in American Idol Season 24 after a three-month journey that captivated her hometown fans. Hannah Harper won the competition with Jordan McCullough finishing second. The City of Pensacola released a statement saying Richardson represented Pensacola with her soaring voice and tremendous heart and that the city was honored to play its part in her Idol journey. The statement added that no matter the outcome the best is yet to come for Keyla and her family. Richardson received the key to the city last week during KeylaFest and performed for thousands of fans at Hunter Amphitheater before returning to the finale stage Monday night.
