Pensacola Names David Stafford new City Administrator

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Big news this morning from the city of Pensacola..... it looks like the search for a city administrator is over.

""As of this morning we're announcing that David Stafford is going to be our new city administrator," said Mayor DC Reeves on Pensacola's Morning News Wednesday. Reeves says Stafford brings three decades of experience in local politics and public service to the city -- he also praised his leadership and said the city is excited to have him onboard.

Stafford is the former Supervisor of Elections for Escambia County, and Reeves says he's also a native Pensacolan with a "sterling reputation" in the community.

The city has been searching for an administrator since Tim Kincella left the job a few months ago. Stafford's first day will be October 27th.
