Pensacola Man Could Face 30 Years for Cyberstalking Teen Girls

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Pensacola man has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing for cyberstalking two young girls. 28-year-old Charles Schmaltz allegedly used more than ten social media accounts to communicate with several minor females between 2022 and 2024. Prosecutors say Schmaltz continued contacting the girls and sending sexually explicit content despite requests from the victims and their parents to stop. The victims ranged from 9 to 15 years old. Schmaltz is due for sentencing in September, he could faceup to 30 years in prison.
