Pensacola gas prices among Florida's lowest at $4.08 per gallon

Gas prices across Florida jumped 18 cents over the past week, but the Pensacola area continues to enjoy some of the state's cheapest fuel.

According to reporting from the Orlando Sentinel, Pensacola drivers are paying $4.08 per gallon on average — well below the state's most expensive markets. West Palm Beach and Boca Raton top the list at $4.52 per gallon, followed by Naples at $4.48 and Gainesville at $4.43.

Northwest Florida fares better overall. Panama City is averaging $4.11 per gallon, while Crestview-Fort Walton Beach sits at $4.12 — making the entire region among the state's most affordable places to fill up.
