Parent Charged With Battery After Attacking School Bus Driver

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- An Escambia County parent is charged with felony battery after attacking a school bus driver last week. Transportation Director Darlene Hart says Lisa Brown boarded the bus after a missed pickup, threw water on the driver, and hit her with the bottle. Brown was arrested and released on $1,000 bond. The district says students immediately checked on the driver, worried she'd been hurt.
