Pace Weightlifting Sweeps District Championship

Pace, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pace High School's girls weightlifting team swept all 20 events at the District 1-3-A championship Monday. The three-time defending state champions dominated both the Olympic and Traditional categories. Pace won the Olympic title with 117 points, 68 ahead of runner-up Navarre. Seven Patriots won both events in their respective weight classes. The team will host the Region 1-3-A championship January 29th as they chase a fourth straight state title.
