Old Red Lobster Location Sold to Okaloosa County

Okaloosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Okaloosa County is reportedly planning to purchase the old Red Lobster on Miracle Strip Parkway -- the county will pay $3.5 million for the property and another $25,000 for closing costs. The county hasn't said for sure what it will be used for, but it could be for a planned museum for the SS United States, or an extended recreation area next to Liz Jackson Park. The county plans to use bed tax dollars for the purchase.
