Okaloosa Sheriff's Office Training in Crestview Today

Okaloosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is conducting a large-scale training exercise in Crestview this morning. It's happening at the Brackin Building, the Special Response Team and Crisis Negotiations Team are running full-scale, realistic drills. Anyone in the area should expect to see a heavy presence of law enforcement vehicles and deputies in tactical gear. The exercise will wrap up by noon. Sheriff's officials say this is a planned training event only — there's no threat to the public.
