It's been several months now since former District 4 Commissioner Robert Bender was appointed as Escambia County's new Supervisor of Elections -- vacating the District 4 seat and leaving the eastern portion of Pensacola and Pensacola Beach without representation on the county board of commissioners. Newsradio has now obtained an official list of all candidates that have applied to the Governor for consideration. The list includes Mei Ling Davis, Ashlee Hofberger, Gregory Hodges, Stan McDaniels, Buck Mitchell, Pensacola City Councilman Jared Moore, Andy Romangano, Boyce White, Walker Wilson, and Bryan Weyer. You can get more information on all these candidates on the Newsradio Facebook page. There's still no word on when the Governor plans to appoint a replacement for Bender.
