The National Weather Service is confirming two tornadoes during Wednesday's round of severe weather. Surveyors released preliminary reports that EF-1 tornadoes were confirmed in the Bellview and Pace areas. The Bellview twister was slightly stronger with winds up to 110 mph, while the Pace storm topped out at 105 mph. Survey teams are continuing to assess damage around Escambia County and the final assessment will be released in the coming days.
