Northview Chiefs fall to Destin 35-21 on homecoming night

The Northview Chiefs' homecoming celebration in Bratt ended in disappointment Thursday night as the Destin Sharks dominated in the second half to secure a 35-21 victory.

Destin struck first, scoring a touchdown and field goal to grab an early 10-0 lead. Northview answered back, however, and took a 14-10 halftime advantage heading into the break.

The Sharks outscored the Chiefs significantly after intermission to put the game out of reach. The loss drops Northview's record as the football season continues into October.
