Nine UWF Students Attend National Security Seminar in Washington

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- Nine University of West Florida students spent a week in Washington this month getting an inside look at national security careers. The students attended The Washington Center's National Security Seminar from May fifteenth through the twenty-third, meeting with national security experts and visiting organizations across the city. Each student received a full scholarship covering the twenty-two-hundred-ninety-five dollar cost of the seminar. Topics covered included U-S national security strategy, alliances, and the role of international partnerships.
