NEW ALZHEIMER'S TEST HAS BEEN CLEARED BY THE FDA

A new medical test shows promise for Alzheimer's patients. A new blood test that detects Alzheimer's is the first of its kind to be cleared by the Food and Drug Administration. The test targets people 55 and older who already have memory problems or other signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's. A survey from the Alzheimer's Association found that the vast majority of older Americans will take a blood test to find out if they have the disease.
