Neighborhood Dispute Results in Woman Shot on Old Spanish Trail Road

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County deputies say a woman was injured in a shooting on Old Spanish Trail Road early this morning. Deputies say it happened after a neighborhood disturbance when a group of residents gathered outside and a fight broke out. The incident then escalated and shots were fired. Escambia County deputies say a woman was hit by the gunfire during the altercation -- and despite numerous people witnessing the shooting officials say witnesses are not cooperating with investigators as they attempt to identify the shooter. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
