Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Members of the US Navy and Marines are no longer allowed to patronize two local businesses. According to the PNJ, NAS Pensacola commander Captain Chandra 'Mamasan' Newman has banned sailors and Marines from Wild Gregs Saloon in downtown Pensacola and the Pharaoh store on Gulf Beach Highway. Base leaders finalized the decision after a vote form the base's Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board -- which cited numerous cases alleging underage drinking, drugs being distributed, and illicit sex acts at the bar. The board said there were numerous instances of servicemembers obtaining drugs at both locations.
