Navarre Beach Bridge Closer to Tolls After Commissioners Fund Study

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Santa Rosa County commissioners have approved a $365,000 study for tolls on the Navarre Beach Bridge. If implemented the tolls would be used for maintenance on the existing bridge and to save money for grant matches on a new one. Replacement costs for the bridge have been estimated at between 150 and 300 million dollars. The county hired Jacobs Engineering to perform the study and design a toll-by-plate system for the bridge.
