National volunteer corps aids NW Florida recovery from Hurricane Isaias

Team Rubicon Disaster Response, a nationwide volunteer organization, has mobilized crews to help communities across Northwest Florida bounce back from Hurricane Isaias, according to WKRG News 5.

The volunteers, who traveled to the region from across the country, are working in areas including Milton and surrounding communities affected by the storm. Team Rubicon specializes in rapid-response disaster recovery, coordinating skilled volunteers to assist with cleanup, repair, and rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of major weather events.

The effort marks part of the broader recovery operation underway across the Panhandle as residents and local organizations work to clear debris, restore utilities, and repair homes and infrastructure damaged by the hurricane.
