National Seashore Remains Open Amid Government Shutdown

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- We're in day two of the federal government shutdown -- and reports are that Fort Pickens and the Johnson Beach areas in the Gulf Islands National Seashore are still open. The National Parks Service says they are trying ot keep parks open as along as possible. Although park services, such as the campground are closed. Some government buildings and military installations, including NAS Pensacola, are closed to the public.
