NAS Pensacola Closed to Public Visitors Wednesday for STEAM Day Event

Naval Air Station Pensacola will close its gates to the public on Wednesday, November 5, according to a media advisory from the base. The closure is being implemented to accommodate a STEAM Day event — an educational program focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

The base did not specify what time the closure would begin or end, or provide details about which areas of the installation would be affected. Visitors planning to tour NAS Pensacola or access the flight line or museum should plan their visits for other days this week.

For more information about NAS Pensacola's visiting hours or upcoming events, contact the base public affairs office.
