Mosquito Control Fogging Scheduled Wednesday Evening in Cantonment, Pensacola

Escambia County's Mosquito Control Division will conduct a fogging operation Wednesday evening targeting portions of Cantonment and Pensacola. The spray mission will focus on the area between Nine Mile Road and Kingsfield Road in Cantonment, with operations beginning at sunset and continuing through the evening based on weather conditions.

The county times these fogging missions to coincide with peak mosquito activity during evening hours, which also helps minimize the impact on beneficial insects and other wildlife. Mosquito Control conducts regular monitoring throughout the county to identify areas with elevated mosquito populations that may pose a public health concern.
