MILTON TO AFFECT FLIGHT OPERATIONS

Airports across Florida are determining whether to ground flights ahead of Hurricane Milton's landfall. Milton has grown to a category 5 hurricane with winds of 160 mph. Our area will not suffer effects from the storm, but it could disrupt flight operations nationally. If you are flying out of Pensacola International Airport tomorrow through most likely Thursday, it would be a good idea to check with your airline. Tampa International will close ahead of Milton's landfall. Orlando International Airport said officials are meeting with partnering agencies to monitor the status of Hurricane Milton before a decision is made.
