MILTON, SANTA ROSA COUNTY SIGN INTERLOCAL SUPPORT AGREEMENT WITH NAS WHITING FIELD

A huge partnership between the City of Milton, Santa Rosa County, and NAS Whiting Field was made official yesterday. An 'Interlocal Support Agreement' was signed by county, city, and NAS representatives at yesterday's Board of County Commissioners meeting. The agreement is a show of support for both the military and community -- NAS Whiting Field says they will use local services and materials for on-base projects whenever possible -- reducing costs for the base and benefitting the local economy.
