Measles Case Confirmed In Pensacola Area

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- One case of measles has been confirmed in the Pensacola area. Pensacola Pediatrics says they were recently notified and are urging parents to vaccinate their children. Measles is highly contagious and unvaccinated individuals are at increased risk if exposed. Infants 6 to 11 months are eligible for early M-M-R vaccination. Children 12 months and older are eligible for routine vaccination.
