Man Charged with Stabbing Cousin on Beach During Airshow Weekend

Pensacola Beach, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A man is charged with attempted homicide for allegedly stabbing his own cousin seven times at Pensacola Beach during the air show weekend. Officials say 22-year-old Chancelor Wade was arrested Tuesday. Investigators believe he stabbed his cousin under the pavilion facing the water on 'Mommy Beach.' The victim was stabbed in the arm, leg, back, and side. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Channel 3 reports that Wade's parents alluded to a possible mental illness. He's being held in the Escambia County jail without bond.
